Last Monday, March 10, users of the Metro CDMX reported delays again on various lines, causing discomfort and complaints on social media due to the slow progress of the trains. In particular, problems were mentioned on lines 12, A, 8, and 2, which forced users to recommend leaving earlier.
On the official social media of the Metro, it was reported that there was maximum influx on lines 3, 7, A, and B, where the wait time to board a train reached 6 minutes. On the other hand, a high influx was noted on lines 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 12, with a wait time of 5 minutes to board a train.
That same Monday, it was mentioned that line 4 of the Metro was the only one that was "clear" or with moderate influx, with an estimated wait time of 5 minutes. Despite this, some users debunked this information and reported greater delays on that line.
Among the complaints from users, problems were highlighted on line 12, mainly at the Tezonco station, where the high influx of passengers caused overcrowding due to the delay in train passage. Delays were also mentioned on line A, with complaints about the slowness of the service and the lack of trains at the Los Reyes and Santa Martha stations.
Furthermore, problems were reported on line 8 towards Garibaldi and on line 2 towards Cuatro Caminos, with users reporting delays of up to 10 minutes and expressing their dissatisfaction with the situation. Complaints on social media reflected the need to improve the efficiency and service of the Collective Transportation System (STC) Metro in Mexico City.
